Juan R. Rivera Font earned his Juris Doctor in 2001 and has since built a distinguished litigation practice in Puerto Rico, representing clients at both the state and federal levels. He provides comprehensive employment law guidance and defense to prominent companies and has extensive experience litigating on behalf of multinational and domestic corporations. His cases often involve complex business transactions, contractual disputes, construction law, and insurance matters.
Mr. Rivera Font is highly skilled in resolving business and shareholder disputes, including Director and Officer liability cases concerning duty of care and loyalty. He also represents corporate and individual clients in alternative dispute resolution forums, including FINRA and AIA. Furthermore, he has collaborated with mainland law firms in successful Multi-District Litigation (MDL) cases addressing collusion and fraudulent activities by industry leaders.
In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Rivera Font brings a strong business acumen, having graduated from the Wharton School of Business in 1996. He serves as Member-Director and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association – Puerto Rico Chapter.
